VERTU PUBLISHING is a DBA of Earth and Shelter Corp. Earth and Shelter Corporation was first incorporated in California in 1981, then in Nevada in 1994.

As an art publishing company, we produce and market art we love. Many of the images move us, and delight our senses. Our goal is to make money, just like any other business, but in the process, we are committed to producing quality and will not sacrifice our integrity for profit. All the art for sale is guaranteed to maintain it's integrity (under normal conditions) or we will replace it.

The WATERMARK (Vertu Publishing) you see on the pictures does not appear on the prints or giclees we sell. They exist only for copyright protection.

GICLEE (zhee-clay) is a French term, in this case meaning "spray of ink". A giclee is the printed reproduction on canvas of the artist's original painting. Most of us cannot afford to buy an original oil painting, so giclees are the next best thing. They look and feel like an original oil painting for a fraction of the cost. They are signed by the artist and SOME are enhanced by the artist.

LIMITED EDITION PRINTS are reproductions of the artist's original painting on archival papers. They are generally "large" prints that are signed and numbered by the artist.
